English language challenges

Hi everybody!

This is the last post and I'm going to talk about my experience leraning English at university.

The truth is that this experience has been quite bad, the teachers who have taught me haven't been the best. When I took the test to see my level of English I stayed at level 2, and since then I haven't learned anything, only now at level 4 I learned a little, at the other levels we only came to "talk" about the life of the teacher. I was very disappointed with the English classes at the univerity, I expected them to be of better quality and hopes to finished speaking English, but it was not like that.

Regarding to the use of blogs I think it doesn't not help much, most of my classmates (incluiding me) use a translator to do it, because during the four levels of English we haven't learned to write well in English, I also don't think we receive any correction from the teacher about what we are writing, How are we going to learn if they don't correct us? Another thing about blogs is that the topics on which you have to write aren't interesting for students.

I believe that many aspects of my English must improve, I don't really know much, but I think one of the things that I should improve the most is my ability to hear and understand the English, as well as increase my vocabulary and better grammar. I would like to be able to pay for an English course where I can really learn.

Out of class I try to watch movies or series in English to reinforce this language.

I sincerely hope that the English classes improve so that the following generations can really learn.

Changes to my study programme

I study Dance at the Universidad de Chile, in the arts faculty, headquarters Alfonso Letelier Llona. The truth is that our headquarters is very precarious, the elevators and the ceilings of the classrooms fall, there is no yard, teachers aren't paid on time, among others. One of the things that I would change is the infraestructure, so I mentioned earlier, I would like a new building where all the artistics careers of the university are studied, with many areas to rest and with many large rooms for all the courses. With regard to the subjects, I would like to have other types of dance to be a more accomplished dancer, however I like the subjects that I have at this moment, I would also change the requirements to pass a subject, such as attendance, because everyone should attend classes responsibly and the absences are for a justiefed reason, this requirement hurts many students.

Another thing that I would like to change is the class schedule, the hour load is very high, especially in our career, in which the body needs to rest to avoid injuries, the schedule leaves very little time to rest, we must also do homework for theoretical sujects, and some of us work weekends, time is little to do all these things.

There are many things that I would like to change my career and my university, especially the inequality between the faculties and the administration of the university, but not are all possible, dreaming costs nothing hahaha

Summer Plans

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about my plans for this vacations.

This summer, in January, I will go to the south of Chile, specifically to the Austral road, with my friends Catalina and Stephanie. We still don't have clarity of the places that we are going to cross, but we know that we want to know the first part of the Austral road. We go for 15 days and I hope that the time reaches us to know many places like Hornopirén, Genearal Carrera lake, Coyhaique, among others. Austral road concentrates great amount of natural beauty and has varied attractions where camping and staying for several days of vacations.

In this vacations, I will also continue working in the supermarket because I need money for the vacations and for the next year, and I would like to take dance lessons to get fit next year to my university classes, because last semester I had a injury and I couldn't dance for a long time.

I would also like to go to the beach, like Viña del Mar or Algarrobo, in February, with my friends, but I don't know if I can do it, I don't have any plan for these, but I would like very much to be able to go, at least a week.

I want this year to end soon and the holidays to arrive, so that I can rest and enjoy of the summer.
